簡介：Since ancient times, a tribe on the African continent has been prophesying that a white boy will arrive to be their god the Son of the Moon. David, a 12-year-old orphan who lives in Europe, learns about the prophecy and believes that he is the chosen child and that destiny must be fulfilled at any cost. Before David can fulfill his prophecy he must escape the heavily guarded scientific organization that has adopted him. David's strange behavior and the fact that he possesses extrasensory perception, has attracted the attention of an organization researching so-called prodigious beings in the occult tradition. David soon discovers that their goal is to channel the moon's energy into a child yet to be born, robbing him of his rightful place as the Son of the Moon. Two women, Victoria, a member of the center, and Georgina, the future mother of the supposed moonchild, will help David fulfill his destiny. After several attempts David manages to escape the center and undergoes a series of new experiences love, adventure, supernatural events and even death. David is relentlessly pursued, pushing him further towards his goal, towards Africa where his fate awaits him.

簡介：This is an unusual film of exceptional values--75 minutes long in color, with hardly any spoken dialogs. I saw this Iranian film in Farsi without English subtitles at the Early Iranian cinema retrospective on-going International Film Festival of Kerala, India. That I was watching a print without subtitles did not make a difference as there were very few lines of spoken dialogs. This is a very accessible film for any audience to enjoy--its story and values are not merely Iranian, it's universal. The film is set in rural Iran that had not tasted petro-dollar prosperity. The setting is on fringes of desert land, where water is scarce, rainfall scanty and hardly any blade of grass is green. Add to it wind and dust that buffets and whips man and animal and you can imagine plight of the people who live on the fringes of society. The film is moving tale of a young teenager returning to his village with a goat--only to find his family and villagers have moved on to escape natures vagaries and that one old man remains. He gives the goat to him and goes in search of his family. Water is scarce and well water it treated with reverence and never wasted.

簡介：Marg Duffield (Lee Remick) is the Maine wife of Al (Joseph Sommer) whose daughter Peg (Marlee Matlin) is deaf. Peg's husband is killed in a car accident on the way to visit the Maine house, and the Duffield's take in Peg's six year old daughter, Lisa, while Peg recovers. Since Lisa is a speaking child, Marg thinks of her the way she wanted Peg to be, and seeks guardian custody. Remick's role is secondary to Matlin's, though she is presented as a tragic figure, particularly as Al refuses to help her plan to gain Lisa. Peg's deafness is said to be from a childhood case of spinal meningitis, and the teleplay by Louisa Burns-Bisogno, with story by Louisa and Tom Bisogno, reduces Remick to a textbook mother who is self-hating from guilt and therefore cannot love her own daughter. In a memorable scene, Peg angrily signs her exit to Marg, since Marg has refused to learn sign language, though Peg has learned to speak for her mother. The treatment uses the Tennesee Williams play, The Glass Menagerie, for therapy, to help Peg overcome her grief and also Marg `lose her unicorn horn' and embrace her daughter. Whilst Peg choosing to act in this play may seem an odd choice for someone grieving, what is more noticable is that Matlin is far too more glamourous to be believable as Laura. The Bisogno's include Michael O'Keefe as Dan, Peg's deceased husband's best friend and director of Actors Theatre for the Deaf, to offer Peg a new romantic interest, and thankfully she rebukes his protestations of love. Although his opinion may be influenced by his `crush', Dan tells Peg that being different is better than being normal, since the normal ones are as `common as weeds'. This philosophy reads as rather Nietzschean, on the level of artists not being restricted to the common moral code. Director Karen Arthur either has those signing also speaking or those signing being translated for the audience, though in one scene the sound of lapping waves drowns out the dialogue between Dan and Peg. She also gives Matlin some good moments, one being her scream of horror when she hears the news of the death of her husband, and another when she chases Remick down a flight of steps, hitting her.

簡介：陸野和席娟已離異，各自又有了新的選擇，他們的兒子陸一和耐克公司經(jīng)理陸建國的兒子陸依在同校同班學(xué)習(xí)，而且都穿耐克廣告衫。剛從監(jiān)獄獲釋的魏文彬，為了給獄中的哥兒們出氣，敲詐陸建國不成，就糾集歹徒去綁架陸依，不料他們誤綁了陸一。陸野、席娟尋子不見即向公安局報案。陸建國接到歹徒要贖金的電話，后又知陸一失蹤，方知歹徒是沖著他來的，就將錯就錯，準備交贖金以圖安寧。刑警隊長石偉和助手先以夫妻離異、家庭解體和孩子可能出逃的線索去查找，后發(fā)現(xiàn)陸建國從銀行提取三萬元現(xiàn)金，而陸一的廣告衫又是他送的，便推測陸建國的行動與失蹤案有關(guān)。這時，魏文彬到海濱浴場來取贖金，偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)尋找陸一的啟事，方知綁錯了人，但又怕其中有詐，就讓其情婦亞麗看住陸一。亞麗有意讓陸一逃跑，夜料孩子剛到家又被魏文彬等人擄走。石偉、陸野、席娟從陸建國那兒得知真情后，陸野救子心切，獨自行動。石偉獲得的線索，又因陸野的莽撞而打亂了計劃。魏文彬發(fā)現(xiàn)他已被公安人員盯上，就派歹徒殺人滅口。在混亂中，歹徒殺死了席娟。陸野欲與魏文彬拼命，這時石偉干警趕到與眾匪徒激戰(zhàn)，終于擊斃了魏文彬。陸野與兒子團圓了。然而，這仍是一個不完整的家庭。

簡介：某艦隊兩棲偵察兵正在訓(xùn)練場上練習(xí)格斗，雪亮的匕首和陣陣殺聲吸引了艦隊子弟學(xué)校的三個男孩。為首的董海星翻墻而過，企圖竊取匕首，結(jié)果被一個海軍軍官“俘獲”。次日，白鷗老師向五年級二班的同學(xué)介紹新來的輔導(dǎo)員梁馳濤，董海星認出他原來就是那個“仇敵”。一天晚上，熄燈號吹過之后，五(2)班的男生宿舍里依舊燈火通明，一場“海戰(zhàn)”正在激烈地進行。輔導(dǎo)員梁馳濤來到了“戰(zhàn)場”，嚴厲地批評了這些違紀的“水兵”，受到處罰的董海星對梁馳濤更加不滿了。董海星、謝潛和金寶貝是“特混艦隊”的領(lǐng)袖，并自封為“將軍”。一天，他們在鯊魚礁附近無意聽到一種奇特的聲音，“小將軍”們決定要查它個水落石出，并稱此為“鯊魚行動”。他們用小錄音機錄下了海底怪聲，分析后認為是沉船發(fā)出的。上旗語課時，白老師將董海星的錄音機沒收了。梁馳濤仔細了解情況后把錄音機還給了董海星，為此，三個“小將軍”認為輔導(dǎo)員夠意思，“仇恨”開始減退。一天，“小將軍”們又一次來到鯊魚礁，金寶貝自告奮勇潛入水中尋找沉船，卻半天不見上來，董海星和謝潛急呼救命，梁馳濤聞訊趕來跳入海中，救出了金寶貝。一股敬仰之情在“小將軍”的心里油然而生，梁馳濤也深深地愛上了這幾個小搗蛋。由于把精力都花在了“鯊魚行動”上，董海星在期中考試時“觸礁”了，考場上他用旗語向金寶貝求救，被寧娜告發(fā)。董海星氣壞了，三個“小將軍”一起用一盆洗衣粉水“懲罰”了這個“女問諜”。在老師和輔導(dǎo)員的幫助下，“將軍”們懂得了，一個真正的男子漢必須珍惜友情，有大海一樣的胸懷。梁馳濤就要離開五(2)班去執(zhí)行新的任務(wù)了，孩子們難過極了，他們費盡心思想要留住輔導(dǎo)員，但卻無濟于事。孩子們深情地唱著《水兵之歌》，送走了他們的艦長。授旗儀式開始了，五(2)班被授為“特混艦隊”班，全班同學(xué)身穿水兵服威武地站在導(dǎo)彈驅(qū)逐艦上，“特混艦隊”的藍旗在桅桿上高高飄揚。
