簡(jiǎn)介：又名《野人泰山》，是有聲片時(shí)代拍攝的第一部泰山片男主角是奧運(yùn)游泳健將約翰尼．韋斯穆勒，與莫琳奧沙利文飾演的珍形成英雄美人的配搭，在三十年代曾轟動(dòng)一時(shí)。劇情描述英國(guó)女孩珍與父親及男友一齊前往非洲找尋大象的墓穴。途中，珍碰到危險(xiǎn)失聲尖叫，被泰山從樹(shù)叢中擺蕩而出，將她救到樹(shù)頂。從此，珍便情不自禁愛(ài)上了泰山。后來(lái)，珍等一行人遭野蠻的矮人族俘虜，幾乎成為黑猩猩的點(diǎn)心，幸好被泰山率領(lǐng)一群大象前來(lái)救出人質(zhì)。導(dǎo)演W．S．范戴克將無(wú)拘無(wú)束的原始生活氣息表現(xiàn)得頗為令人神往，外景與森林內(nèi)搭景的配合也幾可亂真。由于本片當(dāng)年在商業(yè)上的成功，男女主角一共拍攝了六部泰山電影。
